National Assoc of Wholesaler-Distributors , the leading trade association for merchant wholesaler-distributors, is seeking a full-time, Temp/Temp-to-Hire, Administrative Assistant-Membership Administration for its Washington, DC office (please note 3rd party consultants and/or remote options are not available for this position) . This role provides administrative support for the Membership/Corporate Relations department. The Administrative Assistant coordinates and improves several important processes to ensure efficient delivery and engagement with the staff and association members. This position interacts with employees, members and vendors. Candidate should possess a strong understanding of association membership department activities. The incumbent must have the ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple ongoing projects and tasks flawlessly; accurately attend to details; adapt to changing priorities and work demands; take initiative; work autonomously with limited supervision; and work collaboratively and effectively within a team. The position is located at our headquarters in Washington, D.C., near Metro Center. Relocation reimbursement will not be considered. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President-Corporate Relations, Senior Director-Membership Services and Director-Corporate Relations, which includes document creation, editing, coordinating mailings, organizational tasks for the department, etc. Maintains accurate and relevant membership data in corporate database. Upholds data integrity standards by identifying and resolving data issues (i.e. duplicate records, incorrect information, etc). Run various reports and queries to provide the necessary information for membership initiatives and objectives. Manage the monthly membership dues billing/invoicing process. Responsible for meeting registrations, meeting materials, invoices/receipts for 10+ roundtable events throughout the year. Updating the Membership content on the website. Manage multiple marketing & member communication projects. Assist members with account related inquiries. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications/Skills Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and work experience. Experience with Associations a plus. At least five years of Administrative experience supporting senior level executives, preferably in an association. Expertise using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. A working knowledge of Wordpress, Hubspot and netFORUM, association management system, is a big plus. Excellent customer service skills, to include, oral, written and phone communication skills.
