We are looking for an organized and highly motivated Tenant Events Coordinator to join the Calgary Urban REM Office. Reporting to the Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for designing and successfully executing targeted and cost efficient annual Marketing & Event Plans for Centennial Place and Eau Claire Tower. You will organize National Program events at site as well as seasonal and building specific events with the goal of increasing retail traffic. You will supervise the successful execution of advertising, events, marketing, promotions, specialty leasing, Oxford gift card program, public relations and consumer research for the properties while ensuring consistent, cost efficient expenditure of the funds. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for: • Manage and administer approved marketing & events plan and budget for both properties • Plan and execute a program of special events and promotions for properties, as well as special regional office events • Build stronger community relations by integrating non-profit utilization and events at the properties • Co-ordinate all building and tenant sponsored charitable uses and assist with logistics, permits, etc. • Plan and co-ordinate a consistent advertising and poster campaigns ensuring proper execution of advertisements, signage and marketing collateral at the property (poster stands, washrooms signs, etc.) • Implement a public relations plan and work with consumers, the business community, and our Merchants, to reinforce the properties and gain favorable community profile for each of the properties • Liaise and regularly communicate with retail tenants, customers, other Oxford departments, corporate community and the Calgary community at large • Write and send all tenant facing email communications • Support the specialty leasing program coordination • Undertake appropriate consumer research to improve marketing program and positioning of the properties in the marketplace • Use standardized financial analysis tools to monitor and control budget expenditures, approve quotations and process invoices for operational expenses • Participate in special projects as directed by the onsite team including everything from building signage, hoarding and graphics, building events and milestones, promoting building amenities such as parking, food courts, fitness and conference centres, promotional products, to coordinating major events To succeed in this role, you: • Possess a relevant post-secondary degree, ideally with a focus in business management, or marketing and communications • Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in marketing and event management • Desire to learn and grow within property management Have demonstrated an impressive track record in ensuring consistent, delivery of marketing projects and event management while remaining within budget • Excellent and accurate written and verbal skills • Strong organizational and time management skills are imperative for this role • Track record managing simultaneous projects • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Working knowledge of social media platforms • Ability to diplomatically work with many stakeholders; tenants, retailers, merchants, suppliers, administration, internal Oxford departments and the public • A strong and consistent desire to make a difference! • Thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt Are you interested in this job?
