BBW Event Staff, operating under BBW International Inc. specializes in staffing tradeshows, conventions and special events across Canada. We are currently recruiting for our client for a: Junior Ticketing Coordinator, Customer Service, CSR, Ticket Agent Vaughan, Ontario We are seeking a full time Junior Ticketing Coordinator to set up and manage our ticketed events in our consumer shows division. Responsibilities The Junior Ticketing Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of ticketing. Tasks include: create and maintain clients’ ticket selling web pages, reporting suite, discounts, promotions, banners and promotional graphics, merchant account processors, lead all onsite operations of ticket selling across Canada and the U.S. which includes the setup and maintenance of routers, switches, internet wires, power wires, box office terminals, ticket scanning hardware, etc., schedule staff hours, train staff, monitor and supervise staff for accuracy and professionalism, communicate accurately and professionally with general public and clients through phone, email, and in person. Duties as assigned by Ticketing Department Lead. Office work week is Tuesdays through Fridays and your home office on Saturdays. Normal weekends are Sundays and Mondays. Onsite work at events requires long days, evenings, weekends, STAT holidays, etc (this is the nature of the trade show industry). Competencies You are comfortable with Google’s suite of apps and you like the challenge of learning new computer programmes such as website editing software. You have an introductory knowledge of HTML and are familiar with basic concepts of ecommerce. Your strengths are planning, organization and coordination skills, proactive, self motivating, analytical with an eye for detail, practical, results oriented, hands-on, strong verbal and written communication, organizational awareness, fast learner. Requirements Two or more years’ customer service experience, event experience preferred. Read, write, and speak English clearly and professionally, French is an asset Home office with quiet area with high speed internet You have a valid passport. You can provide a 5-year certified driver's record from the Government of Ontario. You can provide a Police Criminal Record Check (PCRC). You are physically fit and active and can spend long periods of time walking, standing, kneeling, sitting, stretching, and carrying 25lbs as required. You are happy to travel to Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, and New York to install, manage, and teardown onsite ticketing services for a few months each year.
