Through strategic and experiential event marketing, we strive to bring the Univision brand story to life in engaging, meaningful, and inventive ways. The Manager position supports the planning and execution of events for the Advertising Sales organization. This position includes the support and planning of programs to include proposal creation, budget development and reconciliation of each program, and logistics coordination including, but not limited to, audio visual production & staging, venue site selection, contract negotiation, promotional strategy, some consumer & brand activations, premiums sourcing, rooming lists, staffing schedules and vendor management. This individual must be a team player, who can multi-task and is willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done. Job Responsibilities Simultaneously manage and execute multiple events of varying sizes at any one time Define, conceptualize, and execute a successful event Produce detailed proposals for events based on outlined needs, (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets) Develop and manage relationships with strategic industry partners, including internal and external clients Manage and track Event Marketing budgets with the goal of promoting the company’s brand and services to the target audience with a strong focus on ROI Post-event tracking and ROI analysis to help measure the company’s marketing initiatives and to improve future performance Collaborate with other teams to ensure all necessary collateral is created for events Creation of on-site event marketing plans Act as the central point of contact to manage and coordinate events Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum 5-7 years of Event Planning Ability to work independently Professional and with proven experience working within all levels of an organization, including senior executives Strong negotiation and event management skills Vendor management experience Strong ability to prioritize projects and initiatives Creative with an eye for design Strong understanding of U.S. Hispanic and/or Multicultural market a plus Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Desired Skills & Experience Fluent in Spanish (read and write) Experience with a Broadcast, Media or Digital company preferred Ability to work independently as well as within a team Ability to think quickly and problem-solve calmly under pressure Energetic, upbeat and outgoing personality CMP certification is desired but not required Experience with Photoshop and Salesforce desired but not required Extremely well organized, detailed oriented, and always works with integrity Works efficiently to keep up with fast paced environment, while still producing a thoughtful product Strong presentation skills Eligibility Requirements Must be willing to work from office in New York, NY Employment/education will be verified Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Must be willing to work weekends and outside of normal business hours Must be willing to travel, as needed and on weekends, with short notice (30% Travel - 90% Domestic and 10% International) Univision is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
