Events and Marketing Coordinator Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time Experienced BiblioCommons is looking for a high energy Events and Marketing Coordinator to join our team! In this role, the successful individual will report to our Director of Library Engagement and be responsible for coordinating a variety of different events throughout the year – from exhibit booths at large conferences to business lunch presentations for our customers. We are looking for someone that is incredibly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities at any given time. A strong communicator, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to manage deliverables effectively. You are calm under pressure with strong problem solving skills. How you’ll make an impact: Organize events for BiblioCommons across all facets of the business including customer-focused trade shows, user group gatherings, local community events, etc. Coordinate online events via webinars or other tools to engage current customers and create interest in potential customers. Contribute to our company content updates via our corporate website, social media and other channels by generating customer-focused content, presentations and marketing materials as directed. Oversee marketing as it relates to product feature sheets, marketing materials, and other branded items. Provide excellent customer service to our customers, promptly responding to any requests and/ or questions. What you’ll bring to the team: Strong experience coordinating events including exhibit booths at conferences Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create persuasive content that generates interest and drives attendance at events. Proven track record of creating thoughtful, useful content to assist your company and customers. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage a content calendar or host an event without hiccups. Ability to thrive under pressure, remain composed and manage multiple projects and priorities at any given time. Strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to empathize with our diverse customer base. An analytical approach, aggressively tracking your performance expectations. Passion for public libraries, and building accessible 21st century learning communities.
