Doxim is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager, Events & Engagement, to join its dynamic rapidly growing, energetic and engaged marketing team. Reporting to the VP, Demand Marketing, this will be a very varied and important role, leading and executing on all aspects of Doxim’s events strategy. Our ideal candidate will be high energy, creative, smart, with oodles of common sense, very detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects at a time. The Marketing Manager, Events & Engagement, will responsible for leading Doxim’s event strategy, including working with stakeholders in product marketing, demand generation, sales and product management to develop and execute prospect and client-focused live events and online events, all the way from concept to execution and follow-ups. The ideal candidate is a leader and event planning expert across a wide range of event formats and across various event promotion tactics, completely self-sufficient with budgeting and supplier negotiations. A strong experience in event marketing, communications and lead management practices are a must. Tasks and Responsibilities Plan, budget for, and execute on all offline events (tradeshows, conferences, charity events, corporate events – industry and our own) and online events (webinars, virtual events, customer workshops, corporate events, user group meetings) Brainstorm, collaborate with the design / demand gen team, and other stakeholders to develop, source, budget for and manage the inventory of all corporate branded materials and promotional items, to be used for Doxim’s internal teams and for prospects engagement purposes Develop and implement an annual events plan and budget with a focus on lead generation and brand building, with specific emphasis on the US market Lead the strategy on tradeshow / own event focus / topic design, city selection and vendor funding to support various offline events across North America Work with Doxim’s demand generation team and customer success to design and execute our annual customer events Collaborate with demand generation team to develop and execute on effective event promotion strategies to drive online and offline event ROI Manage all supplier contract negotiations and continuously drive cost-savings without compromising quality Oversee all external event marketing, communications, and lead handoff processes, collaborate with other marketing team members to deliver event performance reporting and ROI evaluations Develop new event programs, drive partner sponsorships and co-hosted events, involve industry thought leaders into online and offline events to continue building Doxim’s brand and drive leads Support our brand ambassadors in preparation for live events, work with internal and external subject matter experts to support speaking opportunity nominations and execution Other prospect, customer, social media, and employee engagement activities – from planning to execution, based on your experience and appetite for growth within the organization and the marketing function as a multi-faceted marketing manager Qualifications A University Degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or business administration A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing events of various scale with full ownership of planning, budget and execution, and a minimum of 7 years of combined experience in marketing management capacity 3+ plus years leading and developing people B2B enterprise software marketing experience Experience with modern webinar management platforms (e.g. Webex, ON24, Join.me etc.) and interactive webinar tools Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g. Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) Exceptional command of event marketing and lead capture practices and technologies, vendor and venue supplier management, travel planning Skilled at budget development, management and financial reconciliation Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to present to various level of stakeholders and to get buy-in to new ideas and approaches to event management Highly organized, understands and appreciates the value of project management approaches in marketing teams and doesn’t mind keeping themselves and others on track with complete transparency around project status Is decisive when needed and embodies grace under pressure Great collaborator and someone who thrives on reaching ambitious goals Ability to travel is a must-have (North America), required to support event execution, activity, and gather direct feedback from the market (up to 20%) If this sounds like you, please send your application to: firstname.lastname@example.org Please indicate job title in subject heading of email Any application MUST include a covering letter, no more than one page that explains why you are the best candidate for this role.
