We are looking for Sr. Events Manager to innovate, win, and grow with us based in Portsmouth, NH supporting the Global Head of Events in defining and implementing the overall events marketing strategy. A strategic and highly experienced Senior Events Manager with a proven track record in exhibitions, B2B events and large national and international conferences. The successful candidate will demonstrate events expertise in the payments and fintech space together with excellent interpersonal skills across event team leadership, external supplier/industry relationship management and sales and marketing teams. How you'll contribute; Plan, deliver and manage the company's road-map of exhibitions/events to maximize investment aligned with business objectives and targets, including sourcing new opportunities Support the Global Head of Events in shaping and driving the events marketing strategy Manage and act as the focal point for sponsorship industry and commercial relationships in relation to events Deliver regular updates to senior leadership on the progress and return on investment of events Responsible for proactive day-to-day management of key stakeholder relationships across multiple projects / programs of work Work closely with key stakeholders to create content and agendas for key thought leadership events Work in partnership with other Marketing leads across the business to oversee delivery of local events Engage in strategic discussions with 3rd parties to agree partnership marketing activity which will enhance product and brand profile and drive new revenue opportunities Venue searching, negotiation, contracting and management including sourcing, contracting, briefing and managing a variety of other third-party suppliers To develop and sustain trusting and mutually respectful stakeholder relationship To proactively keep abreast of event industry advancements Flexible work arrangements available Travel availability up to 20% What you'll bring; Events management and production Project and time management Events logistics and operations, from venue and supplier sourcing to H&S Budget management Sales and marketing strategy Relationship management including event agencies, suppliers, venues, VIPs, guests & speakers Strong negotiation abilities Pre and post event communication Coordination of event teams Problem solving Evaluation of events Preferred Skills Proven event management experience in a B2B environment with experience in large national and international exhibitions and events Exposure and understanding of contract/sponsorship management Experience in project management of events, from awareness to conceptualization and full production according to project/stakeholder objectives and the policies and objectives of the company Preparation of a detailed event timelines including setting up and chairing regular project planning meetings, producing and distributing contact reports Excellent negotiating and organisation skills Flexibility to work to multiple deadlines and to work away from home Proven ability and confidence to deliver outstanding events on time and within budget Ability to create strong relationships with external business partners, sponsors and suppliers Experience in dealing with a senior level of stakeholder (C level and above) Managing budgets and finances Education/Certifications An experienced marketer with 8+ years’ experience in exhibitions, B2B events and large scale national and international conferences Experience in payments and fintech communities Leadership qualifications You’ll love Bottomline because we’re passionate about making an impact which starts with building amazing teams filled with co-workers that challenge you to stretch and grow.
