BaAM Productions, a Toronto-based design driven production company, developing exhibits, events and experiences for clients in the sports, entertainment, heritage and culture sectors, is looking to add to our team. WHO You are an expert with a passion for working behind the scenes supporting resource requirements, project planning and implementation. You are focused on the details, appreciate the need for paperwork systems and production processes but you aren’t afraid to be hands-on. You understand inventory management as well as the logistics and freight requirements for moving event assets from one place to another. You have strong communication and time-management skills and experience in planning and assigning work. You’re a stickler for health and safety. WHAT Reporting to the Construction Manager, your role will be focused on the resourcing, planning and implementation for prep and refurb of event and exhibit projects. Based at BaAM’s Oakville warehouse, you’ll manage inventory and oversee all packing, freight and logistics for international projects. You’ll be responsible for general warehouse management and the associated administrative tasks – from schedule planning to procurement and budget management. You’ll also be the face and voice of BaAM, communicating with many stakeholder groups including warehouse staff, project teams, clients, suppliers and vendor-partners. Travel and site supervision of project installation, operation and dismantle may be required from time to time. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar role and a post-secondary Diploma/Certificate in a related field. Some work experience in an administrative role in an office environment, with a demonstrated understanding of the importance of organization using structured systems and processes. Work experience in a warehouse and construction/fabrication environment. Experience with forklift operation and safety procedures. Class 1 certification required. An excellent working knowledge of office software applications; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficiency with the review of CAD drawings, including a working knowledge of Bluebeam.
