Do you love boat, events, maybe fishing, and being on the water – join our boat show crew! The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) currently has an opening for a  Shows Administrator  in our Minneapolis office. NMMA is the nation’s leading trade association representing boat, marine engine and accessory manufacturers and produces 18 boat and sportshows throughout the U.S.   We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is customer service-oriented to join our show team, managing administrative supporting the Minneapolis office and show team.   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and outstanding customer service skills (in-person, by phone and over email) are important. There is a significant amount of data entry for this position and the ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail and work at a fast pace is needed.   Major Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and update all present and new data for exhibitors and prospects. Process contracts and all related forms. Maintain contract books and follow up on contract and amendment signatures. Manage registration pre-show and on-site. Email/copy contracts and amendments after signed by ERM (maintain executed copies of contracts and amendments.) Maintain and proof data for show guide and coordinate with publisher, NMMA programmers and sales team. Maintain and create databases for mailings, marketing, prospecting and advertisement purposes. Assist the ERM with invoicing and collections. Maintain the floorplan updates and changes. Maintain updated exhibitor information for all service vendors per the needs of the show manager. Handle some inquiries about shows via phone and follow-up. Assist with mass mailing and e-mails for show manager ERM. Responsible for weekly status report on projects completed and ongoing. Provide excellent customer service by phone, fax and e-mail. Prepare all rosters, forms, and financial information for show site. Create and manage show information binders for personal on show site. Complete show site duties as assigned. Financial responsibility for Be My Guest Tickets and including order processing, billing and collections. Manage all temporary staff hired including training, managing, payroll, and discipline within budget. Assist with other office/show duties. Moderate travel. Seasonal overtime required.   Position Requirements/Credentials: Expert level in MS office products Requires excellent phone skills Database experience – enter in data as well as pulling reports Must be a multi-tasker, Proven excellent written and oral communication skills Proven stellar customer service orientation Ability to collaborate across all levels/departments of the organization Business acumen Enthusiasm to solve problems independently Love a fast pace environment   Credentials/Experience Requirements: 2-5 years of solid successful Admin experience required.
