JOB OVERVIEW As part of the Global Partnerships team you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of medium-to-large sized partnerships from various industries that align with multiple MLSE properties. In addition, you will have the opportunity to plan and execute key partnership events throughout the season.  RESPONSIBILITIES Manage your own portfolio of medium-to-large sized partners with minimal supervision; you will be required to provide regular updates to your manager Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Become an expert in your partner’s corporate objectives, brand, and industry as well as all MLSE team properties Ability to conceptualize, develop, and present programs that will help partners achieve their objectives by leveraging MLSE team assets Work within a team environment supporting colleagues on various programs and department initiatives Produce post event and post-season recap documents to be presented to key stakeholders   Accountable for managing pre-season planning with partners and ensuring programs are ready to launch prior to start of regular season Develop and manage individual partner budgets with month/year end reporting Work game nights, weekends and/or host marketing lounge in rotation as needed Participate in special projects and perform other work-related duties as requested REQUIREMENTS Post-secondary degree or diploma; preferably in a Business-related discipline Minimum of three (3) years’ experience including responsibilities in corporate sales or service, promotional marketing or event marketing; sponsorship experience (agency, client, or property side) is an asset   Creative self-starter, driven by results and alert to change Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable making presentations and public speaking Understanding of general marketing principles and a mindset for service; knowledge of mass media values Understanding of the partnership/sponsorship industry and landscape Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships Proven to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Confident user of MS Office 2000 and XP, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Strong knowledge and familiarity with current social media tools Available to work evenings and weekends as required A positive, winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentially and discretion Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
