Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1919, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) is the third largest symphony orchestra in Canada, and the largest performing arts organization in Western Canada.  It has an annual operating budget of $16 million. The Orchestra performs 150 concerts annually in its home, the Orpheum Theatre, as well as numerous venues throughout Metro Vancouver and Whistler.  The organization also delivers extensive education and outreach programs reaching 50,000 young people annually. Maestro Bramwell Tovey is the Music Director.
