The Event Content Manager will work closley with Learning & Development to support their holistic content and training strategy as well as cross-functionally with Recognition, Virtual, Brand, Creative, and Legal while leading production and logistics for Convention Breakout Sessions and Special Events for 14,000+ attendees onsite, and 50,000+ online. We are looking for an event expert who has a passion for the Rodan + Fields brand, an enthusiasm for improving and streamlining processes, and the ability to bring messaging to life in a flawless attendee experience. This is a full-time position that will report to the Director, National Events.   Responsibilities : Manage content development process for all breakout sessions including content workflow, production timelines and breakout session agenda Work with cross-functional stakeholders, content strategists and copywriters to project manage the development of scripts and presentations to ensure we deliver the education and inspiration that attendees expect Develop and implement regular and effective communications of plans, activities and other key information; drive feedback/post-mortem discussions Work with Convention Project Manager to create and continuously monitor and update project plans to ensure all deliverables are met ontime Communicate with internal stakeholders and executives, setting expectations and helping influence decision making Manage production vendors to ensure all production elements are aligned with content strategy for a flawlessly executed mainstage and breakout experience Assist with keynote and breakout speaker selection process, including contract negotiation and execution Manage deck presentations and AV requirements with vendor for rehearsals and on-site session execution Contribute to venue evaluation and selection process Proactively manage breakout logistics, room sets, line queues, production and onsite execution Work closely with Virtual event team members to identify how breakout session content can be seamlessly integrated into our Virtual and online experience Understand and report analysis of key success metrics  Evaluate content workflow and processes and recommend changes and improvements on an ongoing basis with Director, National Events and Sr. Director, Field Learning & Development Lead process for establishing and gaining cross functional and executive alignment on strategic vision for assigned work streams This role will manage our external production partner and work collaboratively with our internal Virtual team and external Virtual providers to ensure flawless production and content delivery for onsite and online attendees. Work with the Director, National Events to establish work stream budgets, track and report on progress, and manage post program reconciliation   Qualifications : Top candidates must demonstrate broad-based event and conference management experience, with increasing levels of responsibility. Proven success in managing large-scale, 10,000+ attendee events with complex and segmented agendas is required. Experience developing and producing engaging and compelling experiential events that are on trend, highly innovative, and on the forefront of event technology. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events at hotels, convention centers, and special events venues including knowledge of rules and regulations that require differing approaches and considerations for success. Equally important is a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and manage a complex workload. Superb project management and communication skills, creative and strategic thinking, and a proven ability to execute are all integral to success.
