BaAM Productions, a Toronto-based design driven production company, developing exhibits, events and experiences for clients in the sports, entertainment, heritage and culture sectors, is looking to add to our team.
You are an experienced event site supervisor with a proven record of managing labor crews and third-party contractors to ensure safe and timely installation of event elements. You’re familiar with all the tools and equipment required to carry out site work according to established Health & Safety policies and any site-specific requirements. You have a passion for working behind the scenes managing site installation crews, ensuring effective use of labor resources, scheduling and administrative paperwork, when needed. You have strong communication and time-management skills and conduct your work in a professional, customer-service focused manner.
Working on an as-needed basis, you will carry out site supervision in collaboration with other Site Supervisors, Project Managers, Technical Directors, third-party contractors, and labor crew to complete delivery and fulfillment of temporary site infrastructure. This includes scaffold and stage construction; set build; scenic elements; furniture, fixtures and equipment; signage; and décor. In addition to event installation and dismantle, your role will be responsible for providing technical support during event operating hours and attending, or leading, daily production meetings and crew briefings. Travel to event sites for supervision of project installation, operation and dismantle may be required from time to time.
Please visit our website at www.baamproductions.com to see if what we do is what you have a passion for. If you think there’s a fit, please send your resume, clearly noting “Site Supervisor” in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org.
BaAM would like to thank all applicants in advance and advise them that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
