Our Distribution Division is currently seeking a Co-op student to join our Planning & Sales Effectiveness (Events) department starting in May 2018.


The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include:


  • Administrative support for events and conferences (internal corporate events and external client events)
  • CE Credit management for events as required
  • Coordination and assistance with conferences as it relates to registration set up, tracking participants registration, and onsite as required
  • Assists in supporting day to day events and onsite execution (Q&A sessions, managing traffic, welcoming guests and all other assigned duties)
  • Support event planners by conducting venue research


The following requirements will assist the successful candidate:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary education program
  • Interest and passion for a career in the financial industry
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Related previous work experience is an asset
