Main Duties:

This position will be responsible for directly supervising and organizing meetings, processes and initiatives required to maintain and grow the Clubs member events at DUMBO. Supporting the Management team as needed.       

  • Plan and execute creative member events working with staff, members and local partners to identify monthly and weekly programming 
  • Coordinate all necessary club spaces, liaising with operations for set up and f&b requirements to guarantee success of each event
  • Maintain budget expenditure forms for all member events and reconcile this budget monthly
  • Assist Content and Partnerships teams to set up  event photography and videography/oversee communication of these items
  • Upload all events to Soho House app for promotion and membership RSVP and maintain/check for accuracy
  • Send out RSVP reminders to members to ascertain accurate attendance
  • Create internal weekly hand-over documents to disseminate information to all F&B managers and staff. Hold a weekly events meeting to brief the team
  • Communicate to Reception, and any other departments required, all member event specifics
  • Provide follow up upon completion of member events with post event notes including a record of member attendance
  • Exercise discretion and judgment regarding member and talent issues/concerns and ensure resolution
  • Produce all large scale events such as Halloween and NYE and work with outside vendors to stay within budget 

  • Subedit House Notes and all event calendars, and ensure all assets are delivered and installed on time
  • Respond to all member emails within 24 hours during the week 

  • Hold walk throughs with event partners and ensuring event sheets are updated

  • Execute Partnerhship events including special menus
  • Perform any additional duties as required


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/ or 4+ years equivalent industry experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Excel skills
  • Must have flexible schedule including days shifts, evening shift, holidays, and weekends
  • Must have a healthy and active interest in outside cultural events
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Communications and/or Hospitality degree
  • A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance together with excellent communication, problem solving and listening skills


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
  • Must be able to work on your feet as well as stationary for at least 10 hours daily
  • Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 pounds
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required
