Currently with more than 50 employees globally and rapidly growing, Wachsman is seeking an accomplished Event Manager for its New York office for immediate hire. Reporting directly to the Global Event Manager, the successful candidate will support Wachsman clients in maximizing their brand worldwide, through the attendance and sponsoring of global events.


  • Supporting the Global EM in the growth of the business by leading the preparation of proposals and strategies for clients
  • Planning and execution of events and roadshows as part of global PR campaigns
  • Liaise with and guide clients on a daily basis
  • Responsible for managing event budgets from start to finish
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, that exceed expectations
  • Managing, leading, supporting, and training junior team members
  • Responsible for conducting post-event analysis
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities while identifying and addressing problems

The successful applicant will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related work experience
  • Exceptional work ethic and motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong research skills and understanding of how events support an overarching Public Relations campaign
  • Excellent writing skills and utmost professionalism with clients, colleagues, and all external stakeholders
  • Strong interest in finance and technology
  • Desire to learn and lead in a positive and supportive environment
  • Must be fluent in Google Applications, Microsoft office and comfortable learning new software as needed
