BiblioCommons is looking for a high energy Events and Marketing Coordinator to join our team! In this role, the successful individual will report to our Director of Library Engagement and be responsible for coordinating a variety of different events throughout the year – from exhibit booths at large conferences to business lunch presentations for our customers.

We are looking for someone that is incredibly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities at any given time. A strong communicator, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to manage deliverables effectively. You are calm under pressure with strong problem solving skills.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Organize events for BiblioCommons across all facets of the business including customer-focused trade shows, user group gatherings, local community events, etc.
  • Coordinate online events via webinars or other tools to engage current customers and create interest in potential customers.
  • Contribute to our company content updates via our corporate website, social media and other channels by generating customer-focused content, presentations and marketing materials as directed.
  • Oversee marketing as it relates to product feature sheets, marketing materials, and other branded items.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers, promptly responding to any requests and/ or questions.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Strong experience coordinating events including exhibit booths at conferences
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create persuasive content that generates interest and drives attendance at events.
  • Proven track record of creating thoughtful, useful content to assist your company and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage a content calendar or host an event without hiccups.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, remain composed and manage multiple projects and priorities at any given time.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to empathize with our diverse customer base.
  • An analytical approach, aggressively tracking your performance expectations.
  • Passion for public libraries, and building accessible 21st century learning communities.
