Serve as first-line supervisor for the Event Services full-time and student staff as well as manage a portfolio of summer conference housing programs, revenue-generating programs throughout the year, as well as high profile University/institutional events. In addition to planning and executing events and event-related services for external and internal clients, other key duties will include staff training & development, review contracts and financial documents, establish and maintain collaborative relationships with University and non-University vendors, and serve as onsite liaison between clients and vendors during events. Provide exceptional customer service as a resource and guide for new and returning clients to ensure the overall success of each program.
Bachelor's degree in related field and four to six years of experience to include customer service, hospitality or conference/event related experience; project and resource coordination; attention to detail; and effective interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends is required and prior supervisory experience and holding a valid driver’s license is preferred.
