Job summary

The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for an Events Coordinator to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support Red Hat’s internal and external talent management events. You’ll provide support for and guide the strategy of Red Hat’s employment branding, recruiting, talent management, and internal corporate events. This is an opportunity to become part of a cross-functional team responsible for all aspects of corporate marketing. This job is located in Red Hat's Raleigh headquarters with occasional travel required.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Carry out on medium-large scale employment brand and recruiting event strategies managing planning, budget, contracts, swag, logistics, etc.
  • Partner closely with Employment Branding, Recruitment, and Talent Management teams in U.S. and around the world to manage consistent event and branding processes
  • Work closely with business partners to consistently refine processes and assess opportunities for improvement
  • Serve as a point of contact for general event operations and program inquiries
  • Build and carry out strategies of internal culture and headquarter events for employees



Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience with event delivery
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or in a closely related field of study
  • Experience communicating with senior-level executives on a daily basis
  • Outstanding problem-solving, writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Motivated with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working with a wide variety of cross-functional teams and vendors
  • Ability and willingness to travel
