Scottsdale Arts seeks part time, on call staff to assist with the many festivals and events presented in the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall.
Duties inlcude:
1) Events set up and break down (tables, chairs, equipment, etc.)
2) Running power lines
3) Fence and stage installations and de-installations
4) Audio Visual tech support including but not limited to microphone set up and monitoring, volume control, spotlight operation, adjustsing amplifiers, etc, to support live events.
5) Provides assistance during events/festivals to ensure safe operation of event.
Experience required includes previous AV experience in theater or other venue, experience working events. Position requires ability to lift, stoop, push, pull weights up to 75 pounds. Much of the work is performed outside on the mall area. Must be able to fully ambulate and work a flexible schedule (heavy emphaisis on weekends).
