The Watershed Institute’s mission is to keep water clean, safe and healthy in central New Jersey through conservation, advocacy, science and education. Founded in 1949, the organization is located on a 950 acre reserve in Pennington, New Jersey. The LEED-Platinum Watershed Center serves as the platform for all programs and activities.
We are seeking an experienced event coordinator who is looking to work part-time. This position is flexible meaning it allows for the possibility to work reduced hours or no hours during off-peak times.
Working under the leadership of the Director of Development, the Special Events Coordinator will primarily execute three fundraising events each year – the Butterfly Festival (August) , the Watershed FEST gala (October) and a 5K/10K Run (May). This includes planning and logistics, securing vendors, working with volunteers and helping to secure sponsorships. This individual will be part of a six person development and marketing team.
