Job Description

Special Events Coordinator

A national, nonprofit patient advocacy organization, headquartered in Portland, Ore., seeks a Field Operations Coordinator. We are looking for an energetic, dynamic individual to help assist with our Team NPF Program throughout the country that include walks, cycling, runs, bingo, galas and DIY events. 
Responsibilities include supporting event leadership and volunteers nationally in logistics, recruitment, training, fundraising, sponsorships, and implementation of events; providing customer service to event participants, sponsors, and volunteers; and assisting with event management and planning of special events as needed. Additionally, will be responsible for managing Donor Drive, our web based fundraising software program; and handling the e-mail campaigns for promotion of our Team NPF events.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with one + years of experience in special events planning and / or, fundraising, and volunteer management. Must have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, and be able to work in a team environment. Good attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Position requires overnight traveling.
