Full time Event Management Event Planning

Job Description

Events Manager

San Francisco Bay Area
Full Time
DayTwo is the first company with a clinically-proven treatment to safely and sustainably balance blood sugar, lower A1C, and reduce weight using food as medicine and leveraging the profile of a patient’s gut-microbiome, without the use of medications or surgery. Our innovations in nutritional biochemistry, data science and digital tools combined with our clinical expertise are shifting the diabetes treatment paradigm from management to reversal.
We’re looking for an experienced, creative, powerhouse Event Manager to help build and execute our events program. You’ll work with our Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Marketing to create event experiences that delight, inspire, and educate our audiences, bring our brand to life, and help expand our reach around the US.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing and many other teams, you’ll be a key part of building and managing a top-notch events program for DayTwo, ensuring that we deliver unique and thoughtful experiences every time.
If you’re someone that obsesses over the attendee experience, loves digging into data and metrics, and enjoys brainstorming event formats as much as perfecting the tiniest details, we want to hear from you!

    • Produce events from concept through completion: identify opportunities, define strategy and goals, manage vendors, source diverse speakers and audiences, and navigate the murky waters of event metrics along the way
    • In close partnership with Sales and Marketing, develop and expand the scope of the event's program to drive new leads, nurture existing ones, and bring our reach to new markets
    • Incorporate data-driven insights into the full event lifecycle, from strategic pre-planning through post-event reporting
    • Develop new event ideas, concepts, processes, and formats, ensuring consistency and creativity throughout all event touchpoints and locations
    • Refine and document the workings of our events program alongside the team, helping us scale our program

What You Bring To The Table

    • At least 4 years of full-time experience planning a range of events for multiple audiences in a fast-paced environment, preferably at a healthcare company
    • Comfortable executing soup-to-nuts details for a variety of event formats, small and large, with minimal supervision
    • Experience partnering closely with Sales teams to develop strategies and track metrics for events, such as trade-shows, CXO dinners, QBRs, etc.
    • Desired working knowledge of healthcare conferences and the sales landscape in the healthcare industry
    • Demonstrable experience working with and analyzing data from customer databases, such as Salesforce
    • A relentless commitment to focusing on the details and staying hyper-organized
    • Established relationships with event vendors and agencies
    • A passion for transforming messaging and positioning into engaging and evolving live experiences
    • The ability to thrive in a high-growth workplace and be flexible when priorities shift
    • Proficiency for managing digital event assets (email, website, etc.)
    • Extensive knowledge of event venues, restaurants, and spaces
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively
