About you

Want to help manage the event marketing engine behind manufacturing’s first Paas? If you’re a  motivated, organized events professional looking to make an impact, join us!  You’ll help our team organize, plan, and execute trade shows, industry events, customer conferences, and various other events around the globe. The person in this role will coordinate all aspects of the event execution and experience delivery, including creating & managing work plans, communicating with customer & vendors, on-site management day-of, and post-event wrap-up and debrief.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Plan and execute all aspects of online and offline marketing, sales, partner, and customer-facing events, including trade shows, customer workshops, meetups, and webinars
  • Collaborate across the organization with marketing, sales, and customer account managers
  • Drive and conduct pre-planning trade show, conference and special event strategy presentations/meetings, timelines, product lists, attendee lists with marketing managers/directors and/or sales leads. 
  • Own event logistics: this includes arranging hotel blocks, set-up and breakdown, managing travel forms, materials, digital assets, demo systems, show schedules, and other logistical requirements
  • Proactively work with the marketing team to identify strategic sponsorship/ancillary opportunities and oversee execution
  • Maintain/update trade show schedule, calendars and budget
  • Key interface for development of booth concepts, graphics, marketing collateral/giveaways, configurations, and meeting layouts
  • Manage reservations for space and ensures best available locations 
  • Facilitate equipment showcases at partner locations around the world and ensure availability, timely delivery and return of products 
  • Regularly review demos for quality and manage equipment updates
  • Manage event services and negotiate equipment rate discounts  (A/V, electrical, carpet, lighting, shipping to/from show, labor, etc…)
  • Contribute to the budgeting/forecasting and monthly reconciliation of assigned event expenses
  • Lead efforts to streamline reporting and communication of event calendars and expenses
  • Support teams handling event initiatives outside of trade shows when requested: ex: hiring events, speaking events, executive demo/meetings
  • Other duties as required
 
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in planning and executing corporate and/or technical events
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer service skills. Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as with external partners, vendors and service providers
