The Old Globe seeks a positive, calm, customer-oriented administrator to be the VIP Services Coordinator for this renowned theatre in San Diego’s beautiful Balboa Park. With a budget of $29 million, the Tony Award-winning Old Globe is a recognized leader among American regional theatres. Known for producing a broad range of work from Shakespeare and the classical repertoire to world premiere musicals and plays, the Globe annually produces 15 productions on its three stages, plus a “Globe for All” touring program that performs in community venues throughout San Diego County.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development, the VIP Services Coordinator is responsible for processing and stewarding show and event ticketing for Circle Patrons ($2,500 and above donors) and the Board of Directors, including processing ticket and event payments. The VIP Services Coordinator works with the Events Director, major gifts staff, box office, suite and valet concierges, and others to provide an exceptional theatre experience for all Circle Patrons and their guests. We seek a motivated, patient, and mature administrator who is professional, clear, and compassionate and provides the highest level of customer service.
The successful candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and will enjoy working with donors and building relationships. Strong ticketing system experience is required, Tessitura preferred. Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Must be able to pass a background check.
