The Sr. Associate/Associate Marketing Events will develop and produce events in support of global campaigns to increase revenue. Events may include industry tradeshow sponsorships, webinars, and Lionbridge in-person events. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration with subject matter experts, industry influencers, trade show professionals and other marketers. S/he is a self-starter with project management and event management experience. This is a hands-on role that will develop and produce events from beginning-to-end. This role reports to the VP, Demand Generation and is based in Waltham, MA.

  • End-to-end trade show and small event management including thematic development, event planning and production, venue management, food and beverage management, and event operational logistics. Coordinate with stakeholders to develop goals, concepts, messaging and graphics.
  • Manage a webinar program, including identifying and coordinating with potential presenters, writing webinar descriptions, setting up registration pages, hosting and running webinars.
  • Lead calls and coordinate with presenters, participants and internal stakeholders to ensure events are flawlessly executed
  • Develop, maintain and communicate our global events calendar
  • Ensure that all events come in on, or under budget.
  • Be laser-focused on demonstrating business impact. You'll work closely with Sales and Account Executives on post-event follow-ups and report on our return on investment.
  • Work closely with channel marketing colleagues to execute joint webinars, small events and/or tradeshows with our channel partners
  • Proactively identify, qualify and recommend new trade show opportunities
  • Ensure that all event plans are documented and easily accessible

  • 2-3 years of event marketing, hospitality management experience or corporate event planning
  • You have superb interpersonal skills and are at ease influencing people
  • You are a natural project manager with superb organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You take pride in managing multiple events simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Ability to identify and solve problems independently
  • Bring new ideas and creativity to the team for consideration
  • You know how to become a trusted partner with sales colleagues
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed
  • 2+ years as a marketer in a global company
  • Experience using event technology platforms (e.g., GotoWebinar) preferred
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent, in marketing, hospitality, linguistics or a related field
