DESCRIPTION

We are seeking to as a Senior Conference Producer to our growing Production team! As a Senior Conference Producer you will be managing a portfolio of B2B conferences / events. The role consists of a mixture of in-depth business research, speaker recruitment of c-level executives from Fortune companies, working in collaboration with sales and marketing to develop the most commercially viable products, written and verbal communication, strategy and project management. (NOTE: This role is not involved with the sourcing and selection of event venues, catering or audio visual (AV) oversight.)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Carrying out telephone research with senior industry professionals to identify cutting edge conference topics
  • Sourcing senior level industry professionals to be speakers at our events
  • Building great relationships with C-level execs
  • Writing conference programs and agendas
  • Providing input to sales and marketing strategy
  • In partnership with colleagues, managing the profit & loss and making sure the event is run within budget
  • Developing a clear understanding of the vendor market
  • Motivating and leading the cross-functional event team towards delivering and exceeding event targets
  • Candidates will also have the chance to travel to the events that they produce

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • At least 2 years B2B conference experience
  • A positive, solutions focused and highly self-motivated attitude
  • Proven research and analytical skills
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven business
  • Great planning, organizational and influencing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels
  • Sound negotiation skills
  • The ability to identify business opportunities in a market
