We are looking for a Sr Associate, Events based in our New York City office.

What You'll Do -

  • Lead a team of Event Coordinators either through an Agency or IC’s
    • Provides front-line customer service via email, over telephone, and at times in-person, ensuring prompt and efficient service for the customers
    • Provides day-to-day front-line customer service support in fast-paced work environment
    • Ensures compliance to all applicable policies and procedures
    • Assists customers with coordinating event logistics (including but not limited to securing event locations, ordering catering, scheduling trainers, processing appropriate compliance documentation, setting up registration sites, etc.)
  • Key point-of-contact for escalations inquiries from customers regarding fulfillment of requests.
  • Key person responsible to resolve problems and complaints according to established guidelines.
    • Schedule meetings, conference calls and prepare meeting materials, as necessary.
    • Client support role that includes gathering data, pulling reports, analyzing data, reviewing and processing contracts and submitting new project requests
    • Ensure all SLAs are met and requests are addressed appropriately
    • Ability to work with sensitive private data  client issues and provide high quality support; HBI, MBI, LBI
    • Manage high volumes of projects and data in varying stages of progression with accuracy
    • Access and organize data submitted by clients, audit data integrity, work with internal and external teams to drive processes and provide support
    • Creating and maintaining client reports
    • Multi-tasking, work effectively in dynamic environment and meet ongoing & overlapping deadlines – understanding and interpreting contract terms
    • Accountability for meeting client compliance policies and meeting deadlines
  • Build and maintain procedure documents up-to-date as necessary
  • Managing stakeholder meetings and communications, training and education of processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified -
  • At least two (2) years of related customer service or order processing work experience
  • At least two (2) years of related event management and logistic work experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, MS Project, Visio
  • Knowledge of Google Suite of products – Drive, Doc, Sheets, Slides, Hangout, etc.
  • Work extended shifts during seasonal/cyclical peaks
  • Effective oral and written communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts
  • Ability to identify and evaluate customer inquiries and problems and determine the appropriate actions
  • Ability to operate personal computer and related software for business applications
  • Must be organized and customer service based
  • Proven track record of successful deliverables being met
  • Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond without being asked or directed
  • Strong interpersonal skills         
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively cross–organizationally and cross-culturally     
  • Ability to work independently and within tight deadlines
