Description

To support the Shows and Events department to grow Revlon Professional’s leadership position in the marketplace. This includes planning, execution, and on-site support for Education, Sales, Marketing, and PR shows and events across Revlon Professional Brands (CND, American Crew, and Revlon Pro).

Pre-Event Planning:

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Creative, and Digital departments in the development of goals and objectives for event
  • Drive pre-event planning meetings with internal as well as external departments and vendors
  • Lead Cost negotiations with both vendors and venues per event.
  • Creates production event timelines and master Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Create and deploy production information
  • Maintain timely and open communication with attendees

On-Site:

  • Drives logistical coordination of all vendors, talent, and event staffing.
  • Manage event graphics, Audio Visual, and support materials inventory; maintain distribution schedule, tracking and ensuring reception and return of support materials

Post Event:

  • Evaluate success and performance at events for future improvement
  • Provide timely and relevant post-event communication
  • Responsible for processing all payments to vendors.
  • Manage outside vendors which include building lasting and budget focused relationships
  • Oversee general departmental activity which includes: o Coordination with Marketing and PR events
    • Event graphics and support materials inventory
    • Budget Tracking for events/shows
    • Audio Visual inventory
    • Processing payments to vendors
  • Provide a positive, solutions-orientated approach to business challenges
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop Coordinator

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, mentor, and develop Coordinator.
  • Ensure excellent service is provided to Education Ambassadors, Sales team, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Provide a positive, solutions-orientated approach to business challenges

Knowledge , Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to influence others through excellent communication
  • Ability to build trust, confidence, and teamwork through positivity
  • Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure
  • Polished writing and verbal skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio (or equivalent); SalesForce, SAP

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-6 years industry experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for events
  • Ability to travel overnight when requested.
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs.

Licensing/Certification/Registration:

Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) credential a plus
