Position Summary

Supervise Athletic Facility operations and staff during operating hours to ensure the department's standards for customer service, health, safety, and housekeeping are met. Supervise technical and student support staff instructing patrons on and performing routine maintenance of strength and aerobic equipment, maintaining bulletin boards, signage and displays, and collecting guest fees. Interpret and implement policies and procedures regarding access and use of facility by patrons and guests. Recommend and implement changes to department's protocols (e.g. scheduling, operating policies). Ensure adherence to rules regarding health, safety and orderly conduct by patrons. Supervise athletic and special events. Recruit and oversee processing of student appointments in PeopleSync.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree and

Required Experience:
2 years' related experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience providing high levels of customer service and supervising employees. Working knowledge of athletic facility operations.

Preferred Experience:
Supervisory experience in an athletic facility and experience in athletic facility operations.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Current CPR, First Aid, and Automatic External Defibrillator Certifications or ability to obtain certifications.
