Position Overview:

As part of our hourly Event Services team, you will play a key role in delivering excellent guest service. As a host, your duties will include tasks such as greeting guests and scanning tickets, to assisting guests to their seats and monitoring crowd control. Above all, you will be our guests' main point of contact for any inquiries. This is an hourly events based position.


  • Proven experience in the Customer Service industry
  • Must be able to:
    • work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 5:15pm
    • safely lift up to 35 lbs
    • stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
  • Fluent in the English language, both oral and written
  • Experience in working with the general public in a service oriented role
  • If you are a Non-Canadian resident, you must hold a valid work permit that expires no earlier than April 2018

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to learn and manage various programs including emergency response system, crowd control, lost children, alcohol program, etc.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Successful completion of customer service training would be an asset (e.g., Super Host, Hospitality training)
  • First Aid certificate
  • Training in assisting the special needs public
  • Fluent in a second or third language in addition to English
  • Knowledge or interest in sport and entertainment events
  • Be a team player who rises to a challenge and strives for continuous service excellence.
