Meetings & Events, Project Manager

About The Opportunity

LifeLearn is seeking a Meetings & Events Coordinator for a full time contract position. This person will be a key member of the Lifelearn team that coordinates and delivers successful custom meetings and events and manages speaker bureau programs for multiple clients. Responsible for all aspects of event delivery, including but not limited to, client consultations, budget management & reconciliation, speaker arrangements, speaker travel, preparation of print and support materials, event promotion, and contract negotiation with suppliers.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively present information and respond to questions from clients within and outside the company, particularly through email and telephone conversation.
  • Ability to solve practical challenges and deal with a variety of tangible variables in appropriate situations.
  • Ability to operate within business hours of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET, Monday-Friday
  • Ability to travel North American wide (20-30% of time).


  • One to three years of experience in organizing and delivering successful meetings and events of various formats and sizes is a preferable.
  • All Candidates must have experience in using Microsoft Office (Word,
  • PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) and be proficient in Excel to produce meeting budgets and revenue reports.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
  • The candidate must have the ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail as well as the ability to manage budgets responsibly & effectively.
  • Passport is required and must have ability to travel North American destinations (20-30% of time).


  • University Degree or College Diploma
