Position Overview: The Events Manager plays a critical role in serving the Stella & Dot Family Brands mission of giving every woman the opportunity of flexible business. This role will oversee nationwide events serving our Independent Business Owners including our yearly inspiration and sales Conference, leadership trainings, incentive trips, regional meetings and more. Partnering across all departments, this role will lead engaging and valuable events contributing to the success of our Stella & Dot and KEEP fields. This role requires an action-oriented, entrepreneurial professional who has a passion for excellence. Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert Conduct research and sourcing resources Propose and implement new ideas to constantly improve event planning and execution Manage Events Team Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to execution with excellence Mentor and develop with a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and give feedback along the way Project manage events through the full life-cycle, from pre-event planning through post-event reconciliation and analysis. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify key goals of each event and coordinate regularly providing routing updates Create and maintain highly detailed budgets Source, negotiate and contract external vendors Manage registration processes and platforms, tracking to meet attendee goals Manage travel for incentive earners including coordinating with agents, DMCs and hotels and preparing detailed travel manifests and communication Develop, manage and prepare event specs including set up, food and beverage, supplies and audiovisual equipment following brand style and creative standards Close out events as required including preparing and executing surveys and final billing. Analyze and report results. Able to motivate others through communication and interpersonal skills Deals well with ambiguity and is self-managed, works well under pressure Dependable, consistent and poised Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in event project management Experienced in planning large scale events of over 2,000 attendees Experienced in main stage production Experience working with finance to obtain accurate data to analyze, report and drive decisions Thorough knowledge of event registration platforms –eTouches/Aventri and Cvent a plus Experience working with Wordpress, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign a plus CMP designation highly sought Compensation & Benefits: You will participate in a compensation program that includes a competitive base salary and performance based bonus opportunities.
